November 20, 2008 It has been revealed that Joey Galloway had been dealing with a broken foot and not a sprain earlier in the season, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
Our View:Galloway is now believed to be fully healthy, but has taken a back seat to Antonio Bryant as the top target in the Buccaneers' passing attack. He did not have a reception last week against the Vikings and remains a risky fantasy option despite a great match-up against the Lions in Week 12.
October 26, 2008 Wide receiver Joey Galloway (foot) is questionable on the injury report, but has increased his workload in practice this week more than any other this season, and is on track to play in Week 8 against Dallas, according to Steve Wyche of the NFL Network.
Our View:Galloway would give the Buccaneers another deep threat on the opposite side of Antonio Bryant and eat into the looks of Michael Clayton in the process. We will have definitive word on his status when the inactive reports drop in about one hour.

Our View:With Maurice Stovall out, and Ike Hilliard also uncertain to play, the Bucs could really use their veteran in the matchup with the Cowboys. Given what we have seen so far with Galloway, we wouldn't count on him playing this weekend.
October 23, 2008 Tampa receiver Joey Galloway says he would like to play this week, according to TampaBayOnline.com. "Hopefully this is the week I get a chance to play. We’ll evaluate today and coach will make a decision either tomorrow or Saturday," Galloway remarked.
Our View:The veteran receiver has played in only two games and has caught just eight passes for 74 yards. When he does come back, however, it appears he has likely lost his starting spot to Antonio Bryant, which undoubtedly hurts his fantasy value.
