Our View:He takes over for Tyler Thigpen, who gravely struggled last weekend in a loss to Atlanta. Huard is the right choice and will do a better job managing the offense, but does not merit fantasy consideration against the unbeaten Broncos.

September 23, 2008 The Chiefs may go with Damon Huard as the starting quarterback for Week 4 as coach Herman Edwards hinted at sitting Tyler Thigpen, according to the KC Star. Edwards said, "You weigh a lot of factors into this. You don’t want to put Tyler in a bad position to where you crush him. That’s not good. You wrestle with that. We also need some calming on our team right now. We’re looking for a spark."
Our View:Brodie Croyle is not expected to return to action until October 19, when the Chiefs battle the Titans. If Huard does get the nod over Thigpen this week, he is not a recommended fantasy option against the 3-0 Broncos.
September 16, 2008 Coach Herm Edwards said Damon Huard, who suffered a mild concussion in Week 2, was feeling better and would be able to practice on Wednesday, according to the AP. Edwards isn't sure if it will be Huard or Tyler Thigpen that will start in place of the injured Brodie Croyle this weekend, but he did know that he won't be rotating the quarterbacks. "What we're thinking about right now is just letting one guy play. Whoever we decide," Edwards said.
Our View:It doesn't really matter which quarterback gets the nod in Week 3, as neither one is worth much in fantasy.
