November 13, 2008 Brian Griese was a limited participant for the Bucs at practice on Thursday because of his injured elbow, according to The Pewter Report. "We're just trying to get the arm totally healed," said HC Jon Gruden. "We think he'll be okay, hopefully in a few days. We have plenty of quarterbacks to work with."
Our View:With Jeff Garcia doing a fine job, even when Griese is healthy all he will likely be asked to do is to fill the backup quarterback role. He is irrelevant at this point.
November 12, 2008 Brian Griese is not participating in Wednesday's practice, according to the Tampa Tribune.
Our View:He was previously practicing prior to today, and it is uncertain why he was absent. Either way, he holds no fantasy value as Jeff Garcia's backup.
