Owner Jim Irsay said yesterday the Colts and Manning's agent plan to get serious about negotiations on an extension, according to the Indianapolis Star. Irsay still plans to tag Manning as their franchise player next year. "But it makes sense for us and for him to get something done long-term," he said.
