Our View:The team did not disclose any information regarding an injury. Thomas is the anchor of the Eagles' offensive line at left tackle and the team cannot afford for him to be hurt, especially with Pro Bowl guard Shawn Andrews dealing with depression (was a no-show at morning practice).
October 19, 2007 William Thomas did not practice on Thursday. He was limited on Wednesday. Thomas sprained the MCL in his right knee in Week 3. He sat out in Week 4 but returned last Sunday. The Eagles do not know if he'll be able to play this week against the Bears, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
October 12, 2007 Eagles left tackle William Thomas and left guard Todd Herremans are both optimistic about their chances of playing on Sunday against the Jets. Thomas did not play in Week 4 due to a sprained MCL, but he returned to practice on Thursday. "We'll see how my body responds to it tomorrow, and just take it from there," he tells the Philadelphia Daily News. Herremans underwent surgery over the bye week to repair cartilage in his knee, and he took part in a few drills on Thursday.

September 24, 2007 William Thomas strained the MCL in his knee during the second half of Sunday's win over the Lions. Winston Justice replaced him, but Thomas returned later in the game. The injury is not believed to be serious, head coach Andy Reid tells the team's official web site.
