Ebenezer Ekuban, who missed the entire 2007 season, has been offered an undisclosed contract offer from the Denver Broncos, and is weighing his options according to the Rocky Mountain News. "We're unsure what we're going to do right now," Ekuban's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Wednesday. "We're going to take the next week and think about it. The Broncos have extended him an offer and we have to evaluate that. We haven't made any decisions yet." Ekuban, 31, was placed on injured reserve after tearing his Achilles tendon in a preseason game at Dallas. He started 31 of 32 possible games for Denver in 2005 and 2006, but at his advanced age he could opt to test the open market for one last big bucks contract. The defection of Ekuban would negatively impact the Denver organization, who is thin across the defensive line.
