Jason Craft will start at cornerback opposite Ronald Bartell this weekend against Washington, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Craft and Bartell will form one of the weakest starting tandems at cornerback in the NFL, which will benefit Jason Campbell and the Redskins' aerial attack.

Jason Craft is working with the starting defense at cornerback in place of the injured Tye Hill (knee surgery), according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:The Rams have a bye this week, giving Craft more time to practice. Hill is expected to miss 3-4 games. Hill is not a quality pro, and veteran Craft could be viewed as an upgrade, but is not fantasy worthy.

Updating an earlier report, Jason Craft has been signed by the Rams, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Craft was released by the Saints last week, and is merely adequate as a pro. He won't likely improve the Rams' 30th ranked pass defense, and does not merit fantasy attention.

Jason Craft took a physical and auditioned for the Rams Tuesday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He left without signing a contract.

Our View:Craft has been released by the Saints last week. He will not hold much fantasy value, regardless of where he ends up playing.

Jason Craft was brought in for an audition with the Patriots, according to the Boston Globe. He was released last week by New Orleans. The Patriots also invited defensive backs AJ Davis, Andre Dyson, Vernon Fox, Terrence Holt, and David Pittman.

Our View:These tryouts are routine for the team to keep their emergency lists fresh.
