Our View:The Redskins need Thomas to stay healthy and help hold down the right side of the line. He played only three games in 2007 (biceps), and the offense missed him. Hopefully this knee ailment is as minor as it sounds.
June 1, 2008 Redskins' Randy Thomas is considered the starting right guard as the team heads into summer camp, but whether he's healthy enough to work twice a day in July is still in question. Thomas suffered a biceps injury in September of last year that caused him to miss the final 14 games of the season.
Our View:Thomas is considered more of a run blocking guard then that of a pass protector, and after being injured two of the past three seasons his job security is in question.

September 19, 2007 Randy Thomas will have surgery Wednesday morning on his torn left triceps, the AP reports.
Thomas will have to wear a splint or cast for at least six weeks and will likely need rehabilitation for several weeks thereafter. Team officials said they would wait until after the surgery is performed to determine whether he could play again this season.
