Our View:The Lions look like they are willing to try anything to get their first win of 2008. Rattay played four games in 2007 and has yet to play in 2008.
September 8, 2008 The Patriots are going to bring in free agent quarterback Tim Rattay for an audition after losing Tom Brady (potentially for the season), according to the Boston Globe. The team is also looking at Chris Simms.
Our View:As of now, Matt Cassel is the starting quarterback for the Patriots. Pattay last served with Arizona in 2007, and is purely backup material.
