Najeh Davenport signed with the Colts on Tuesday, according to Profootballtalk.com. Davenport had spent two different stints with the Steelers this season and was released by Pittsburgh for the third time in this calendar year on December 1st.

Our View:Davenport is unlikely to have much fantasy value and will just be insurance to back up Joseph Addai and Dominic Rhodes.
December 1, 2008
Najeh Davenport has been released by the Steelers, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The club promoted defensive tackle Scott Paxson from the practice squad as the adjoining move.

Our View:This could be an indication that the Steelers are not concerned with the health of Willie Parker.
November 27, 2008
Najeh Davenport was re-signed by the Steelers on Thursday, according to the Associated Press. He had previously been released by Pittsburgh in Week 9.

Our View:This move comes with the growing concern over Willie Parker's swelling knee. Cornerback Roy Lewis was released from the Steelers in order to make room for Davenport.
November 12, 2008
Najeh Davenport auditioned for the Rams Tuesday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:The Rams could use a healthy body at running back, and Davenport would be a solid addition as he could also contribute at fullback if needed.
