Newsbreakers
December 28, 2008
Running back LaMont Jordan rushed 20 times for 64 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 win over the Bills.

Our View:Jordan is splitting reps with Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk, but LaMont has found the end zone in three straight games. He could continue his strong work if the Pats get into the playoffs.
December 22, 2008
LaMont Jordan played 31 of 81 snaps on offense in last Sunday's game, according to the Boston Globe. Sammy Morris played on just 26 snaps.

Our View:With the Pats up big most of the game, they turned to their backup to shoulder the load. He had 20 carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Expect Morris to see more work as long as the games are meaningful.

Running back LaMont Jordan had 20 carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 16 victory over Arizona.

Our View:In the last two games, Jordan has compiled 32 carries for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Kind of makes you wonder how good LaMont might have been this season, if he hadn't missed eight games with the calf injury.
December 14, 2008
LaMont Jordan had his best game of the season on Sunday against his former team, the Raiders. Jordan ran 12 times for 97 yards and a touchdown as the Patriots won the game 49-26.

Our View:Jordan's 12 attempts were the most he's had all season. His role in the team's remaining two games is anything but certain, but he was the No. 2 running back for the Pats in Week 15.
December 8, 2008
LaMont Jordan returned to the gridiron Sunday at Seattle following a long bout with a calf injury, according to the Boston Globe. He rushed four times for 18 yards. Coach Bill Belichick said, "He ran hard. I think he got all he could on some of those plays, where honestly it didn't look like he was going to get much of anything."

Our View:Jordan fared well in his first game back and will return to Oakland (his former team) in Week 15, but does not merit fantasy consideration.
