Brad Meester, who has been recovering from a torn right biceps, is aiming to return this weekend against the Browns, according to the Jaguars' official website. Meester said, "We had set a goal for a couple of weeks ago, but there were some concerns about how well it was attached. It was still early. I don’t run that chance now. It’s 100 percent. It’s been tough watching. The moment is finally here and it feels good."

Our View:Meester is a solid NFL center and the Jaguars' timing and rhythm on offense will be improved upon his return.

Center Brad Meester (biceps) could still be out several more weeks, according to Pro Football Weekly. Dennis Norman has been playing in his place.

Our View:Meester returned to practice this week, but he has already been ruled out for Week 6. The Jags are on bye in Week 7, and Brad could be back in Week 8. So, this report really tells us little that we didn't already know. The interior of the Jags line has struggled due to injuries, but we're hoping they look a lot better come Weeks 8 and 9.

Center Brad Meester is inactive this week against Buffalo, and will likely be out until mid-October due to a biceps injury.

Our View:Keep in mind, the Jaguars will be missing 60 percent of their starting offensive line this week after placing starting guards Maurice Williams (torn biceps) and Vince Manuwai (torn ACL) on injured reserve earlier this week.

Having undergone surgery to repair his torn bicep muscle, Jacksonville center Brad Meester will miss eight-to-ten weeks of action, according to the Sporting News.

Our View:Meester's operation was a success and now he will take it easy and repair for the regular season. The Jags believe he could return by Week 4 or 5 of the regular-season schedule. Meester missed four games last season with a broken ankle, also missing the final four games of the 2005 season with a torn left biceps muscle.

Jags center Brad Meester underwent surgery on his bicep muscle yesterday, but no timetable for his return has been set, according to Jaguars.com.

Our View:Meester is the starting center, so getting him back and healthy is important to the team.
