November 5, 2008 The Chiefs have signed veteran cornerback David Macklin to a two-year deal, according to the Sports Network.
Our View:Macklin has experience, but is no longer a solid NFL cornerback, and will hold no value for IDP leagues. He was brought in for depth with Patrick Surtain dealing with a quad injury.
March 20, 2008 The St. Louis Rams are scheduled to meet with free agent cornerback David Macklin this week, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Macklin, who has started 75 games during his eight-year career, would add veteran depth to the cornerback position in St. Louis.
April 5, 2007 The Redskins signed David Macklin on Thursday, according to the Sports Network. Terms of the deal were not released. Macklin recorded 33 tackles and one interception for Arizona in 2006.
