Pro Football Weekly reports the loss of linebacker Clark Haggans (foot) for the season could have a big adverse impact on the Cardinals' defense. “His value is underrated,” said one source. “Before he got hurt, he was playing better than (starting SLB) Chike Okeafor, and he’s been in some tough games down the stretch and was on a winning Super Bowl team. The outside spots are hurting with Travis LaBoy also banged up and no young guys on the roster able to step in.”

Our View:Despite terrible weather conditions, the Cardinals could have their work cut out for them on Sunday holding the New England offense.

Clark Haggans has been placed on injured reserve due to his foot injury, according to Pro Football Weekly. The club signed offensive lineman Elliot Vallejo as the adjoining move.

Our View:Haggans held no value for IDP leagues with only 19 tackles and one sack.

Sporting News Today reports it is not likely that Cardinals linebacker Clark Haggans's foot will be healthy enough for him to return to the team this season, even in a playoff run.

Our View:Haggans sprained the lisfranc joint in his left foot, which will take at least a month to heal. He was not a starter, but did see significant action with the team.
December 15, 2008
Clark Haggans will miss around a month while recovering from a LisFranc sprain, according to the Cardinals' official website.

Our View:Haggans only contributed 19 tackles and one sack this season, and the Cardinals may opt to place him on injured reserve to free up a roster spot.
December 8, 2008
Clark Haggans sprained his foot in Sunday's win over the Rams, according to the East Valley Tribune.

Our View:Haggans has failed to make an impact with the Cardinals this season, and the club would manage fine if he is unable to go in Week 15 against Minnesota.
