The Packers released Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila on Saturday, according to the AP. In nine seasons with the Packers, Gbaja-Biamila appeared in 124 career games, including 74 starts. KGB was the Packers all-time sack leader.

Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila sat out Thursday's practice after practicing yesterday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He is still recovering from knee surgery.

Our View:Regardless of his playing status, he should not be considered for Week 3 as he only holds value as a sack artist, and the Cowboys are yet to allow a sack over the first two games of the season.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette indicates that Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila will be a game-time decision for Monday's game against Minnesota. He had been experiencing soreness in his surgically repaired knee.

Our View:He would have a good chance to generate favorable numbers while battling mediocre tackle Artis Hicks, but will remain a risky fantasy option due to his game-time status.

Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila has returned to practice Monday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He had been experiencing soreness in his surgically repaired knee.

Our View:This is encouraging news that he was able to practice, but it remains to be determined if he will ultimately be able to play in the opener against the Vikings.

Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila is still experiencing soreness in his surgically repaired knee and is a question mark for the regular season opener, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "It didn't respond very well to yesterday's practice," coach Mike McCarthy said after Tuesday's workout. "So we held him (out) today."

Our View:The Press-Gazette floated the idea that KGB could possibly be cut, but they then stated it would be very unlikely. We'll continue to update you on his status.
