Steelers nose tackle Casey Hampton is battling turf toe, but the team expects him to play Monday when they take on the Redskins, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Our View:Hampton has just nine tackles on the season, but he is a force on the inside of the team's 3-4 defense, and excels at taking up space.

Our View:He holds no fantasy value, but is an elite nose tackle, and will be a welcome addition back to the Steelers' lineup while contending with bruising running back Brandon Jacobs and the Giants' offense.

Casey Hampton could return to the field this weekend against the Bengals after missing the last two games with a groin ailment, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. He ran Monday and looked good, and he'll run again Wednesday and "we'll target Thursday as a practice day for him and see where he is," according to coach Mike Tomlin.

Our View:Barring a setback, you should expect Hampton to suit up.
