August 2, 2007 Trent Green isn't quite ready to proclaim David Martin the next Antonio Gates, but he did have good things to say about his new tight end. "I don't think you want to label David Martin as not being dominant," Green told the Miami Herald. "The fact that he's been a backup most of his career, I'm excited to see what he's going to do this year. I'm not putting him in Tony Gonzalez's class right now, but I think there's great potential there. He's picking up the offense well and shown signs of being able to do really good things in this offense."
