November 23, 2008 Dominic Rhodes didn't do much yardage-wise on Sunday, but still helped the Colts defeat the Chargers 23-20. Rhodes had five receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown as well as 21 rushing yards on seven carries.
Our View:Rhodes' fantasy value has diminished since starter Joseph Addai has returned to the lineup, but he can still be useful in fantasy in deeper leagues.
November 2, 2008 Dominic Rhodes only was given four carries in Sunday's game for 15 yards.
Our View:This was a little surprising, with how much starter Joseph Addai struggled. Expect to see a more balanced rushing attack next week if Addai continues to struggle.
November 2, 2008 The Colts injury report for Week 9 is as follows according to NFL.com: Questionable; WR Reggie Wayne, RB Dominic Rhodes, RB Joseph Addai, TE Tom Santi, CB Bob Sanders, LB Freddy Keiaho, CB Dante Hughes, CB Kelvin Hayden, and RB Clifton Dawson. WR Roy Hall is out.
Our View:Wayne, Addai, Rhodes, and Sanders are all expected to play. The other have very little fantasy value.
October 31, 2008 Dominic Rhodes fully practiced Friday, according to the Colts' official website. He is dealing with an ankle injury.
Our View:He is questionable, but will likely be ready to go for Sunday's battle with New England. Joseph Addai is also questionable, and it remains to be seen which back will be healthy enough to start.
October 27, 2008 Dominic Rhodes carried the ball 17 times for 70 yards on the ground and he also hauled in eight passes for 39 yards in a masterful PPR effort.
Our View:Who need Joseph Addai? OK, of course the Colts do, but Rhodes provided a nice outlet for Manning when he was under pressure and he had a nice night running the ball well against the strong Titans defense.
