After a six touchdown pass day against Arizona, Brett Favre has been named the AFC offensive player of the week, according to Gang Green Nation.

Our View:Favre has been everything that the Jets wanted plus some. In 2008 Favre has thrown 12 touchdown passes and is completing 70 percent of his passes.

Quarterback Brett Favre completed 24-of-34 passes for 289 yards with six touchdowns against one interception in the Week 4 victory over Arizona.

Our View:After four games Favre has thrown 12 touchdown passes, proving he still has a lot of juice in that right arm. It also appears that the chemistry issues between he and Laveranues Coles were greatly exaggerated, as Coles pulled in three of the scores.

Jets inactives: QB Brett Ratliff (3rd), K Mike Nugent, P Reggie Hodges, QB Erik Ainge, WR David Clowney, CB Justin Miller, LB Marques Murrell, DT Kareem Brown.

Our View:As we reported earlier, quarterback Brett Favre will start this week against Arizona.

Despite being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Arizona, Jets quarterback Brett Favre (sprained ankle) will start his 257th consecutive regular-season game, according to the NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

Our View:Per Schefter, two team officials confirmed this report, but was there ever really any doubt that the Ironman was going to miss this game?

The Boston Globe reports that Brett Favre was listed as questionable Friday for the New York Jets' game against Arizona with a sore left ankle, but is expected to start against the Cardinals.

Our View:He has practiced the last couple of days and it is likely he will start. The Jets face a steep drop off at quarterback if they have to turn to Kellen Clemens.
