Napoleon Harris is expected to start at middle linebacker for the remainder of the season, according to Scout.com. He is performing well and looking comfortable with Minnesota.

Our View:He racked up five tackles (four solo) in his first outing of the season back in Week 7 against the Bears. He topped 100 tackles twice in his career, and is worth a look in IDP leagues if you need help at the position.

Newly signed middle linebacker Napoleon Harris could start at the position for the Vikings this week, according to the St. Paul Pioneer-Press.

Our View:Harris played and started with the Vikings in 2006, though the scheme is different now than it was then. The other options to start for the team are Vinny Ciurciu and Dontarrious Thomas.

Linebacker Napoleon Harris was signed by the Vikings on Wednesday according to the Minneapolis Tribune. He started for the Vikings in 2006 at middle linebacker and had a very productive season.

Our View:There are a couple of reasons why Harris is unlikely to start on Sunday in Chicago. The first is that he has yet to play in a game this season and conditioning could be factor. The second, and probably most important, is that while Harris will be familiar with many elements of the Vikings defense this is not the exact same scheme he left when he went to Kansas City after the 2006 season.

Released by the Chiefs Tuesday, Napoleon Harris said his agent has been in touch with the Vikings, his former team, though he said he got the impression the Vikings weren't inclined to make a move quickly, according to the Pioneer Press. Harris said he might make a visit to another team Wednesday, though he would not say which team that was. "I'm healthy, and I just want to play football," Harris said. "I wasn't given an opportunity this year, and I'm looking forward to showing people I can still play."

Our View:Harris said he would like to play right away. Given that he has been inactive for every game this year, teams aren't likely to be rushing to sign the former first-round bust.

The Chiefs cut Napoleon Harris Tuesday, according to NFL.com's Adam Schefter.

Our View:Harris fell out of favor in a hurry in Kansas City. He led the team in tackles last year but lost his starting job in training camp.
