November 27, 2008 Ed Reed has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week, according to the Baltimore Sun. He earned the honor by plucking two interceptions in a winning effort against the Eagles last Sunday.
Our View:He now has three interceptions this season, two of which he returned for touchdowns. As for IDP leagues, too bad he only has 25 tackles (20 solo).

Our View:Good old Ed Reed had only one interception this season coming into Sunday's game, and he had been a very disappointing IDP option before this gigantic performance.
