Jerramy Stevens is looking to cash in during this offseason, according to the Tampa Bay Tribune. He'd have no problem returning to Tampa if they're willing to pay him what he's worth. “If they match anything out there, I’d love to come back, but I’ve been playing for the minimum [NFL salary] for the last two years and that’s just crazy with what I can bring to the field,” Stevens said.

Our View:Stevens is typically a sound target at tight end. He's made 34 receptions in 13 games this year for 369 yards and two touchdowns.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Jerramy Stevens is coming off of his best game of the season and he will be the lone healthy tight end for Tampa Bay as they take on the hapless Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Our View:Stevens may be a nice fill-in this week if you are scrambling for a tight end still.

Tight end Jerramy Stevens caught six passes for 84 yards in the Week 11 win over the Vikings.

Our View:Stevens stepped up with Alex Smith on the sidelines. The Bucs love to use their tight ends, but Smith and Stevens often cancel each other out.

For the first time, Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens addressed the extensive Seattle Times story detailing scandal with the University of Washington's football team and Stevens behavior in particular, according to PewterReport.com. "There is no doubt that it was some [expletive]. I don't think there is any other way to put it. ... Yeah, it was rough, and it had an impact on my contract situation. It was unfortunate. It definitely wasn't cool, but that is a part of sports," Stevens said.

Our View:The report, which a detailed look at the UW program and Stevens' troubles, was disturbing, at best. It can still be found on the Seattle Times website, and most who have read the piece have a hard time feeling sympathy for Stevens and his contract situation.

Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens will not face a fine for making an inappropriate gesture after scoring a touchdown last Sunday, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Our View:Stevens is a decent player, but has had too many problems with his behavior to count, dating back to his days in college at the University of Washington, where he faced a number of serious allegations.
