October 11, 2008
Texans corner DeMarcus Faggins will get the start for the team Sunday in place of the demoted Fred Bennett for the second week in a row, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Our View:This is quite a change for Faggins, who had a difficult time last season in coverage. Houston is doing well in pass defense, however, ranking 12th in the NFL in that statistic.

DeMarcus Faggins is seeing ample playing time while working in a rotation at cornerback with starters Fred Bennett and Jacque Reeves, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Our View:Bennett is the only solid pro of the bunch, but all three are considered starters by coach Gary Kubiak. Faggins holds no fantasy value.

DeMarcus Faggins has returned from his hamstring ailment, and put in three good practices so far, according to the Houston Chronicle. Coach Gary Kubiak said, "He seems to be OK health-wise. We’re going to have some tough calls at cornerback, so those guys have to play a lot. It’s going to be a tough group to make, so they’ve got to step up and do it."

Our View:Faggins struggled last season, but is still going to compete for a role with the team. He has a shot to start, as the Texans are thin at the position, but won't likely hold much fantasy value in IDP leagues.
October 19, 2006
DeMarcus Faggins is expected to play on Sunday for the first time since breaking his foot during training camp, according to the Houston Chronicle. He'll be the team's third or fourth cornerback for the time being while he works himself back into game shape.
December 2, 2005
