Newsbreakers
January 6, 2009
Ryan Clark has been dealing with a shoulder injury, but was able to practice Monday and should be ready to start Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Chargers at Heinz Field, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Our View:The Chargers' offense performed very well in last weekend's overtime win over the Colts, even without the services of LaDainian Tomlinson (groin) in the second half, and the Steelers will be pleased to get their starting free safety back for the battle.
December 24, 2008
Ryan Clark has been ruled out for Sunday, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Our View:Clark has 88 total tackles this year and one interception, but doesn't hold much value in IDP leagues. His absence could weaken the Steelers' team defense but it shouldn't matter too much since the Bengals managed to shut them out at Cleveland last week.
December 22, 2008
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that safety Ryan Clark (shoulder) could sit out the Steelers' Week 17 game. He re-injured his shoulder against the Titans on Sunday, but said he would be fine.

Our View:Expect the Steelers to excercise some caution with their banged up players as their season finale is virtually meaningless. Clark has made 88 tackles this season.
December 21, 2008
Free safety Ryan Clark exited the game against Tennessee late in the fourth quarter with an arm injury.

Our View:Clark was assisted off the field, and is doubtful to return.
December 20, 2008
Ryan Clark is expected to play Sunday at Tennessee, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He has been recovering from a foot injury.

Our View:Clark is not a solid free safety, but has been productive for deeper IDP leagues with 78 tackles (45 solo) and one interception.
