February 26, 2008 Maake Kemoeatu restructured his contract clearing over $1 million of salary cap room for the Carolina Panthers according to the Herald. Kemoeatu, who has started 42 of 48 possible games during the past three seasons, is simply giving the cap strapped organization some additional funds to spend during free agency.
March 11, 2006 Ma'ake Kemoeatu signed a five-year contract with the Panthers on Saturday, according to ESPN.com. The contract is worth $27.5 million. The four-year player recorded 70 tackles and one sack in 16 games for the Ravens last season.
March 10, 2006 The Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are making a strong move to sign Ma'ake Kemoeatu. Agent Ken Vierra said he has not had any conversations with the Dolphins about Kemoeatu, but he expects many teams to show interest.
