Newsbreakers
October 3, 2008
Defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson will return to the lineup this week against the Bucs according to the Rocky Mountain News.

Our View:Robertson was held out of last week's game against the Chiefs and he was sorely missed as Larry Johnson ran all over the Broncos defense.
September 26, 2008
Dewayne Robertson returned to practice on Thursday after missing some work early in the week because of a sore knee, according to The Denver Post.

Our View:Robertson appears in line to play this weekend against the Chiefs, though that news shouldn't get anyone in IDP land too excited.
September 24, 2008
Defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson was held out of practice on Wednesday to rest his knee, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

Our View:Robertson has been battling knee problems almost his whole career and will most likely miss practices throughout the year to give his knees a rest.
June 12, 2008
Defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson sat out practice Wednesday with a sore left knee. He said he would not practice again until the Denver Broncos training camp opens July 25, according to the Denver Post. "I'm just trying to take it easy the rest of camp," Robertson said.

Our View:Robertson also sat out part of the team's passing camp in May. He has suffered through knee injuries during his first five years in the NFL with the New York Jets and had offseason surgery on his wrist.
June 3, 2008
Dewayne Robertson has been rehabbing knee and wrist ailments, but participated in his first full offseason practice on Monday, according to the Denver Post. Robertson said, "It felt good. I went full-go. We've just got to take the coaching and keep progressing."

Our View:If healthy, Robertson will help solidify the Broncos' defensive line, which was their most glaring need heading into the off-season. The Broncos like to generate pressure from the inside, so he could improve upon his four sacks of 2007.
