ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Nate Burleson's knee injury will cause him to miss the rest of the season.

Our View:Burleson had been primed to have a big year with Seattle already short on receivers. Courtney Taylor may be the best option in Seattle until Deion Branch can return. Logan Payne is worth a look, as well.

Nate Burleson sustained a sprained knee on Sunday against Buffalo, but the team does not believe his injury is serious, according to the Seattle Times. Burleson is yet to get the results of his MRI, but coach Mike Holmgren does not believe the injury is "long," referring to recovery time.

Our View:The team cannot afford to lose Burleson as the receiving corps is already thinned out by injuries. We will keep you posted on his status.

Wide receiver Nate Burleson has been diagnosed with a sprained knee, and will undergo an MRI tomorrow to determine the extent of the damage, according to the News Tribune.

Our View:His status is unclear. Burleson advised the Seattle media that he felt OK, but head coach Mike Holmgren doesn't appear to be as optimistic regarding Burleson's availability for next week. Stay tuned.

Our View:No word on the severity of the injury, but the Seahawks can ill afford anymore injuries to an already decimated receiver corps.

Our View:The severity of the injury is not known at this time, but there was no contact on the play. Wide receiver Logan Payne has taken his place in the lineup.
