Our View:Franklin is a backup nose tackle and no help to IDP leagues, but he is one of the big bodies who helps keep blockers away from guys like Patrick Willis.
August 7, 2007 Aubrayo Franklin is expected to miss all four preseason games after spraining an MCL during practice. “It’s not as bad as it could have been,” head coach Mike Nolan told the AP on Monday. “Missing training camp doesn’t get me excited. That’s a disappointment, but it’s not that bad.” Franklin is expected to play in Week 1.
