Our View:It seems unlikely that he will make any kind of an impact this late in the season. However, the Bears have been hurt by injuries in their secondary and he may already be moving up the depth chart.
June 18, 2008 The New York Jets have signed safety Cameron Worrell , according to the Kansas City Star.
Our View:The 28-year old spent last season with division rival Miami, recording 56 tackles in 12 games -- seven starts -- for the Dolphins. The Chicago Bears signed Worrell out of Fresno State as an undrafted free agent in 2003. In four seasons with Chicago, Worrell appeared in 46 games and compiled 20 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Our View:Worrell was a special-teams player, who wound up starting seven games at safety last season before sustaining a season-ending knee injury.
March 8, 2007 The Dolphins signed Cameron Worrell to a two-year contract on Thursday, according to the Sports Network. "Cameron comes from a winning program with the Chicago Bears, a team that has made the playoffs the last two years and was in the Super Bowl this past year," said Cameron. "Not only will he give us good depth at the safety position, but he also will be a key performer for us on special teams." In 43 games with the Bears, Worrell registered 44 tackles and two sacks.
