Tony Romo only threw for 176 yards in the Caowboys' 31-22 win over the Bengals but did throw three touchdown passes.

Our View:Romo struggled in the first half against the Bengals but connected with TO for a 57 yard TD reception. Also in the win, Romo threw his fifth interception and has thrown an INT in every game this year.
September 28, 2008
Romo completed 28-of-47 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort on Sunday. He also threw one pick.

Our View:Romo has now thrown one interception in every game this season, but most fantasy owners will take the trade off since he has now thrown for 1,192 yards and eight touchdowns.
September 21, 2008
Tony Romo used a big second half to produce a decent stat line on Sunday night. He went 17-for-30 with 260 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

Our View:At half, the quarterback had just 75 yards and the interception. He was unable to utilize his best receiver, Terrell Owens, most of the night. Owens had just two catches for 17 yards.
September 17, 2008
The Cowboys are yet to allow a sack over the first two games of the season, while helping Tony Romo throw four touchdown passes with a 113.1 efficiency rating. Baltimore is the only other unit still yet to surrender a sack.

Our View:The Cowboys line will be tested in Week 3 against Aaron Kampman and the Packers' defense.

Tony Romo completed 21-of-30 passes for 312 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in Monday's win over the Eagles. He also fumbled in his own end zone, leading to an Eagles score.

Our View:Romo made a couple obvious miscues in the first half, but he was otherwise his typical brilliant self. That's two straight 300-yard outings for the man who is arguably the No. 1 fantasy quarterback.

During Week 1, Tony Romo was hit in the chin, which required 13 stitches. On Wednesday, Romo took off the bandage and the stitches were barley visible. Romo said that everything is fine, and he is ready for the Eagles, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:Romo started this season right where he left off last season, throwing for over 300 yards and a score. You really do not need our advice on Romo.

Apparently, pop princess Jessica Simpson, girlfriend of Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, has thrown down the gauntlet to the Eagles, saying in her appearance on Good Morning America Tuesday, "We're gonna kick your butts, too," according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:We weren't aware Jessica was a member of the Cowboys, but if she is, her fantasy value is very low. No doubt the members of the Eagles will have a little to say to Romo on the field when the two teams collide.

Tony Romo needed 13 stitches to close the gash on his chin, this according to the Dallas Morning News. The quarterback injured his left middle finger in the game, too, but X-rays were negative.

Our View:The report noted that Cleveland linebacker Willie McGinest hit Romo in the chin.

Tony Romo completed 24-of-32 passes for 320 yards and one touchdown on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland. Dallas' offense dominated the game, the Cleveland defense and the clock.

Our View:Romo was also picked off once. It came on a nonchalent play in the Browns' redzone when the Cowboys were up by two-plus touchdowns and the Boyz quarterback got lazy on his pass to Terrell Owens.
August 22, 2008
Tony Romo threw the ball well, and despite his interception, he did complete 15-of-19 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown to help lead Dallas over the Texans by the score of 23-22.

Our View:Romo is the third or fourth ranked QB on most fantasy boards, and with the potential knee problems Peyton Manning is going through, he could be as high as second.

The focus at this time of year is clearly on the arrival of training camp, but recent weeks have put more than a few headlines on other topics, namely golf, when it comes to Dallas quarterback Tony Romo, rumored to be considering a moonlighting effort that would push the talented passer towards a career on the links after football.

Our View:Romo will appear at an annual charity event in Tahoe this weekend, paired with noneother than the great Michael Jordan. This comes off an amazing performance as part of the celebrity golf outing held in support of a Golf Channel reality show, carding a score of 84 at the same course, Torrey Pines, played by the PGA professionals at the US Open. Romo lapped the field, beating 2nd-place Justin Timberlake by 14 strokes and easily topping the expected winning score put forth by PGA members surveyed on the challenge. That has some wondering if Romo could consider a move to the links as his football days wind down.

Jean-Jacques Taylor, who writes the Inside the Dallas Cowboys report for the Dallas News, suggests that this will be Wade Phillips' last season in Dallas. Taylor notes that while it isn't a make-or-break season for Phillips, he believes the head coach will either take Tony Romo and a loaded offense and win the Super Bowl, or the Cowboys will fall short of their goal and Jerry Jones will promote Jason Garrett to the top position.

Our View:If it's possible, Taylor says that Jones is ready to commit long-term to the Cowboys' offensive coordinator before he's hired away.

Because of his success – two Pro Bowl trips, team records for yards and touchdown passes in a season – it's easy to forget that quarterback Tony Romo has made only 26 career starts. With such a short body of work, there is room for Romo to grow, and he has approached the off-season looking for ways to improve, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has worked with Romo on his posture, which not only allows him to have better vision but also keeps him in position to throw more quickly. And even improvisation is practiced, with Romo performing drills that have him throwing on the move to the left and right, changing his arm angle to simulate throwing around, over or under a defender.

Tony Romo had his left hand cut after colliding with a defender and getting stepped on, and gave the team a brief scare, according to the Dallas Morning News. Romo was examined by head athletic trainer Jim Maurer before taking some snaps from Andre Gurode.

Our View:He returned to practice with his ring and middle fingers taped, and the injury reportedly did not compromise his play.

Urgent news! Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have broken up. Yes, the dream is over, the Dallas Morning News confirms.

Our View:This frees up Romo to find another blonde star this November. Our money is on Kate Bosworth.

Dallas QB Tony Romo recorded a score of 75 in today's U.S. Open local qualifier (that's golf) and failed to make the cut, according to the Dallas Star-Telegram.

Our View:Romo was one of 107 golfers vying to advance to a sectional qualifier, the cutoff for qualification coming in at 71. Romo reports he had hoped to move forward, but the onset of the Cowboys' minicamp cut into his practice time. "I found a good rhythm on the backside, but it just took too long to get started," said Romo. Romo will compete in the Celebrity Long Drive competition at Trophy Club Country Club later this week and is also scheduled to play at the Colonial Pro Am on May 21st.

Dallas/Ft. Worth CBS 11 Sports has learned that the Dallas Cowboys training camp will be featured once again as part of the NFL films series "Hard Knocks." The show, which will be aired nationally on HBO this summer, documents the day to day process of training camp in the NFL. This will mark the second time the Cowboys will be featured on the show.

Our View:The Cowboys will open training camp in Oxnard, California in late July.

The Dallas Cowboys didn’t add a quarterback to the roster during the NFL draft, but owner Jerry Jones hinted the organization will look at some of the veteran options on the market, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:The Cowboys are looking for a veteran to plug in behind Tony Romo and Brad Johnson. Some of the players under consideration include Tim Rattay, Tim Hasselbeck and Kelly Holcomb.

Jessica Simpson’s mother claims her daughter has secretly married, according to the Arizona Republic. As Simpson and her mother Tina were leaving Chili's restaurant in Los Angeles earlier this week, Tina revealed that her 27-year-old daughter has secretly wed. Asked if Simpson was planning to marry football star Tony Romo, whom she had been dating since last November, Tina laughed and responded to the inquiry, "Jessica is already married to Tony. What are you talking about?" Please say it ain’t so Tony! This sounds like a joke or a very bad publicity stunt to us.

Teammates Terrell Owens and Tony Romo helped spark the NFC to a 42-30 comeback win over the AFC Sunday. Romo finished the game 9-for-16 for 87 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
