August 13, 2008 Justin Green has been claimed off waivers by the Jets, according to ESPN Insider. He was released by the Ravens.
Our View:Jets' O.C. Brian Schottenheimer coveted a pass-catching fullback for his aerial attack, and Green should fit in well. He should serve as a backup to Tony Richardson, and will make it harder for Jesse Chatman and Musa Smith to make the final roster.

Our View:Green was a solid special teams performer, but was trailing Le'Ron McClain for the starting gig at fullback.
