March 26, 2008 Linebacker Kris Griffin has agreed to a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, according to NFL.com. Griffin entered the league with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, playing in eight games as a rookie in 2005 and all 16 games in '06, marking a career-high 22 special teams tackles during his second season in the league. He then played in 12 games in his first season with the Browns in 2007, posting 14 special teams tackles, finishing fifth on the team, despite missing the final four games of the season due to a knee injury.
