Joseph Addai was held to a mere 44 rushing yards on 16 carries in Saturday's 23-17 overtime loss to the Chargers. He also caught four passes for 28 receiving yards.

Our View:He scored the first touchdown of the game on a one-yard run, but the Colts' defense could not prevent the battle from going into overtime, which was ended on a 22-yard run by Darren Sproles.

Running back Joseph Addai (shoulder) played one series in the Week 17 win over the Titans, and he was able to reel in a 55-yard touchdown reception.

Our View:Addai wasn't expected to play at all, but the score should give him a little confidence heading into the playoffs. We would expect him to split time with Dominic Rhodes this January.

Joseph Addai (shoulder) is unlikely to play in Week 17 as the Colts will rest their injured players in a game against the Titans that is meaningless, according to the Indianapolis Star. Both teams have already clinched their playoff positions.

Our View:Refrain from starting Addai this week, but don't count on Dominic Rhodes either. He will likely rest as he recovers from bruised ribs.

The following Colts players are inactive for Week 16, according to the Indianapolis Star: wide receiver Marvin Harrison, safety Jamie Silva, running back Najeh Davenport, linebackers Gary Brackett and Rufus Alexander, defensive tackle Eric Foster and defensive ends Marcus Howard and Curtis Johnson.

Our View:Joseph Addai will not start, but he is active behind Dominic Rhodes. Bob Sanders is also in the lineup, and he will start after missing four of five games with an injured knee.

Joseph Addai's (shoulder) status for Thursday night is still up in the air, according to Adam Schefter of NFL.com.

Our View:We'll get you the final say so as soon as we can, but Addai reportedly feels good enough to go though the team might still choose to rest him.
