Our View:Jones-Drew was a workhorse, but it was a poor performance, as can be expected against one of the NFL's top defenses. Jones-Drew finishes the season with nearly 1,400 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns, making him one of the elite backs heading into next season.

Our View:He has only missed one game in his career and we would consider him a safe play for Week 17 at this point. He has 14 total touchdowns on the season.
December 19, 2008 Maurice Jones-Drew went down with a lower-leg injury in Thursday's battle with the Colts, but coach Jack Del Rio expects him to be fine, according to NFL.com. Del Rio said, "It feels like he got a little bruise, and that he’ll be ok. He’s walking around in there right now, so that was really good news. He took a shot there late."
Our View:This is encouraging news for fantasy owners whose season extends to Week 17. MJD currently leads all running backs with 61 receptions and 555 receiving yards.
