November 12, 2008
Delanie Walker was not on the practice field on Wednesday with a shoulder injury, according to the Santa Rosa Times.

Our View:The 49ers have said that they expect Walker to be on the field against the Rams in Week 11.
November 7, 2008
Delanie Walker, who is recovering from an elbow injury, has been cleared to resume practicing without limitations, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View:Vernon Davis fell out of favor with coach Mike Singletary, but will remain the 49ers' starting tight end, meaning Walker holds no fantasy value as a reserve.
October 28, 2008
Delanie Walker sprained his left elbow in last Sunday's loss to Seattle, but he expects to play in Week 9 against Atlanta, according to the SF Chronicle. He said, "The MRI didn't show anything. It's just a little sore."

Our View:Walker caught two passes for 53 yards against Seattle, as starting tight end Vernon Davis landed in coach Mike Singletary's doghouse following an unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty. Walker is worth keeping tabs on in deeper leagues, in case Davis falls further out of favor with the team.
October 26, 2008
According to the 49ers' team website, tight end Delanie Walker left Sunday's game with an elbow injury.

Our View:The severity of the injury is not known currently.
October 14, 2008
With the season-ending injury to Zak Keasey, Delanie Walker is the primary candidate to take over as the team's starting fullback.

Our View:This would pretty much kill whatever fantasy value Walker had at tight end.
