The Cowboys have signed Travis Wilson to the practice squad, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Mike Jefferson is going to miss the next four weeks for violating the NFL's policy for steroids and related substances, and Wilson was brought in for depth. He failed to make an impact in Cleveland, and will continue to hold no fantasy value while working on the Cowboys' practice squad.

September 1, 2008

Our View:Wilson was unable to secure a roster spot with Cleveland, and is not likely to see action with the Broncos, barring injuries.
August 30, 2008
Travis Wilson has been waived by the Browns, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The team also unloaded tight end Brad Cieslak, cornerback A.J. Davis, receiver Efrem Hill, tight end Kolomona Kapanui, safety Travis Key, offensive tackle James Lee, receiver Lance Leggett, linebacker David McMillan, safety Brandon Mitchell, linebacker Chase Ortiz, offensive lineman Jonathan Palmer, cornerback Jereme Perry, defensive end Melila Purcell, kicker Jason Reda, and receiver Steve Sanders.

Our View:Wilson was trying to win the No. 3 role at wide receiver while Joe Jurevicius was out of action, but he ultimately wasn't even able to secure a roster spot.
August 16, 2008
Travis Wilson will start on Monday night in place of Braylon Edwards, the Akron Beacon Journal confirms. The Browns visit the Giants in the second round of preseason action.

Our View:Wilson, a third-year wideout, is trying to secure the No. 3 job left vacant by Joe Jurevicius. Travis has almost no fantasy value, but he has had a solid offseason and camp.
