Our View:Alexander only has 17 tackles and two sacks this year, so he didn't have much value in IDP leagues. He was put on the IR due to an injured hamstring. The Redskins signed Tyson Smith from the Broncos' practice squad to replace Alexander on the roster.
December 22, 2008 Defensive tackle Lorenzo Alexander (hamstring) appeared to be moving normally following Sunday's game against the Eagles, according to the Washington Post. He suffered the injury during the game and was not able to return. "I don't think it's that bad," Alexander said. "I think I'm going to be fine, but I don't know for sure just yet."
Our View:Alexander has not been exceptional this season, but he has shown some promise. His availability for Week 17 is questionable.
