August 13, 2008 Philadelphia defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley was robbed of five guns and electronic equipment when his home was broken into over the weekend, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. The paper listed the stolen items as three game consoles, a camcorder, an Armalite rifle, a custom made .223-caliber rifle, a .45-caliber Glock handgun and two Desert Eagle .50-caliber handguns.
Our View:Bunkley, who has been away from camp for two days, had the firearms registered, so it does not appear he is in legal trouble. The police reported that they did have evidence, so hopefully the guns can be recovered.
November 27, 2006 Brodrick Bunkley missed the Eagle's flight Saturday and was inactive Sunday as a result, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "We've been here a few years and that was the first time someone missed a flight," Eagles coach Andy Reid said. "I'm not going to listen to too many excuses."
