October 24, 2008 Brandon Johnson will move into the Bengals starting lineup replacing the injury Keith Rivers, according to Pro Football Weekly.
Our View:Rivers suffered a broken jaw on a block by Steelers WR Hines Ward which is why Johnson is now starting. Johnson, not as athletic as Rivers, could be pushed in Week 11 at which time Daryl Blackstock should be activated from his suspension, but for the next few weeks he should see a lot of snaps.
March 20, 2008 The Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agent linebacker Brandon Johnson to a one-year contract, according to Pro Football Talk. Johnson, who was originally selected by Arizona during the fifth round of the 2006 NFL draft, appeared in six games in 2007 and three in 2006.
