November 21, 2008
Johnathan Joseph has been placed on season-ending injured reserve due to a foot injury, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Defensive back Simeon Castille has been promoted from the practice squad as the adjoining move.

Our View:Joseph held little value for IDP leagues, but will be missed by the Bengals as a solid starting cornerback.
October 2, 2008
Bengals corner Johnathan Joseph participated in practice on Thursday, one day after being limited due to a sprained ankle, according to Bengals.com.

Our View:Joseph looks like he will play on Sunday, though neither he nor the Bengals' defense hold any fantasy value.
October 1, 2008
Johnathan Joseph was dressed in pads, but only worked on the side during Wednesday's practice, according to the Bengals' official website. He is still recovering from a sprained ankle.

Our View:Joseph is a solid NFL cornerback and the Bengals cannot afford to be without him against Terrell Owens and the Cowboys' offense in Week 5. As a fantasy performer, his value is low.

Cornerback Johnathan Joseph will not play in Week 3 due to a sprained ankle, the NFL Network reports. David Jones is expected to start in his place.

Our View:Eli Manning and the Giants passing attack are in line for a big Sunday. The Bengals will also be without safety Dexter Jackson.

Updating an earlier report, Johnathan Joseph is not expected to play in Week 3 due to his sprained ankle, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Our View:David Jones is expected to replace him opposite Leon Hall at cornerback. Safety Dexter Jackson has already been ruled out, which bodes well for Plaxico Burress and the Giants' passing attack.
