Our View:Landry could have returned to action this season, but was not quite ready to do so, and the club decided to shut him down. Jim Leonhard will continue to start in his place at strong safety.

November 6, 2008 Dawan Landry is still experiencing a tingling sensation in his neck and he could be placed on IR, according to the Carroll County Times. Coach John Harbaugh said, "I would say Dawan is close to that point right now. We’re still looking at those results. We should know something by the end of the week one way or another."
Our View:Landry has potential to develop into a solid starting strong safety for Baltimore, and they may shut him down so they don't jeopardize his future.

Our View:The Ravens secondary is missing three starters with McAllister (knee), Rolle (neck) and Landry (neck) all inactive. On offense, Todd Heap (neck) and Willis McGahee (ankle) are active and will start.

Our View:He has been working out, but still feels a bit of tingling in his back. Landry was a rising star prior to getting hurt, but may take things slow and play cautiously when he returns, potentially hindering his fantasy value.
