Haloti Ngata dropped to his knees in Sunday's battle with Cleveland due to a stinger, but was able to return to the game and appeared to be fine afterward, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View:This is encouraging news for the Ravens' defense, as he is among the best space-filling defensive tackles in the NFL. He has been productive for larger IDP leagues, with 26 tackles (19 solo), one sack, and one interception.

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata returned to practice for the first time since spraining his MCL, though he only participated in individual drills, according to BaltimoreRavens.com.

Our View:Ngata eats up blockers in the middle of the Baltimore defense, so his return is a welcome sight to Ravens defenders and those who have drafted their D/ST unit.

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata sprained his MCL this week, but he should only be out 2-3 weeks, according to ESPN.com. "Right now, it's just a little minor thing, a little speed bump that I'm trying to get over. I'll be back sooner than you guys think," he said.

Our View:Ngata is a force in the middle of the Ravens defensive line, and though this injury will cost him some time, he should be good to go during the regular season.

Haloti Ngata returned to practice with the Ravens on Sunday, according to the Baltimore Sun. The rookie had missed the previous week of practice with a sprained knee. "He needs a lot of reps," coach Brian Billick said.

Haloti Ngata will sign a five-year, $11.9 million deal with the Ravens today, according to the Baltimore Sun. In three seasons at the University of Oregon, Ngata finished with 151 tackles, 10 sacks and three forced fumbles. He was named the Pacific-10's co-Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.
