January 5, 2009 Stephen Tulloch commented on Saturday's playoff match-up against the Ravens, according to the Tennessean. Tulloch said, "It's going to be a battle. Our teams are so similar — solid defense, good running game. Baltimore, they looked good. Real good. And with them you know what you are going to get. It's going to be physical, and you have to man up and stop it. But we'll be prepared, and we'll be ready. We can't wait to play Baltimore. It's going to be a good one."
Our View:The third-year linebacker has been a key contributor to the Titans' defense this season as he broke out with 83 tackles (63 solo) and two fumble recoveries.
September 24, 2008 The Titans have promoted linebacker Stephen Tulloch from backup to starter for Week 4 against the Vikings. Head coach Jeff Fisher said that Tulloch's speed will help the Titans try and slow down Adrian Peterson, according to The Tennessean.
Our View:The Titans defense has been one of the best so far in 2008 only giving up 29 total points in three weeks. With the move of Tulloch to the starting lineup, it looks like the Titans will focus their efforts on stopping Peterson.
