Bodiford played in three games for the Lions this year on special teams but didn't make a catch. Bodiford will play just on special teams with the Packers at first but will have a chance to earn some playing time at receiver. "He's very quick," GM Ted Thompson said of Bodiford. "We kind of liked him coming out (of the draft). We studied him and talked about him going into the draft. We watched him in the pre-season with Detroit and it just so happened we were in a position to get him. We're going to take a look and see what we have."
