Michael Bush is enjoying his new role at fullback after initially not agreeing with the move, according to the SF Chronicle. Coach Tom Cable said, "It's something that I think he has really taken to now because it means him being involved now, being on the field more."

Our View:Bush holds no value in traditional yardage-based leagues, but could snipe a few goal-line scores at fullback. The Raiders have positive momentum heading into Sunday's battle against the vulnerable Chiefs' defense while coming off a huge upset win over the hated rival Broncos.

Michael Bush began his conversion from running back to fullback Wednesday, according to the SF Chronicle. Bush said, "Do I think I'm a fullback? No. I'm doing it, so they can't say I'm not helping the team."

Our View:Justin Fargas and Darren McFadden are both healthy again, and coach Tom Cable noted that moving to fullback is Bush's only chance to play. Bush could snipe a few goal-line scores, but will be a non-factor in yardage-heavy leagues.
November 17, 2008
The Sacramento Bee reports that coach Tom Cable wants running back Michael Bush to convert to a fullback. However, Bush doesn't want to be a fullback. Cable has approached him privately about playing the position, but he wants to be a tailback.

Our View:Since the return of Justin Fargas, Bush has mostly remained insignificant in fantasy leagues.
October 14, 2008
The Chargers nearly traded for Michael Bush before the deadline before the Raiders pulled the offer off the table at the last minute, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. It is believed the Chargers would have surrendered a second-day pick in the deal.

Our View:Bush would likely have slid into the backup role behind LaDainian Tomlinson and would be poised to take over the full-time role once LT decided to hang it up. It was probably a good move by the Raiders to back out even though they have a plethora of running backs.
October 12, 2008
Charley Casserly of CBS reports that the Raiders are shopping Justin Fargas and Michael Bush. Casserly reports Bush is more likely to be traded.

Our View:Both running backs should be attractive options for teams needing a runner. Oakland is clearly looking toward the future with Darren McFadden their centerpiece in the running game.
