November 10, 2008 Kenneth Darby, who was attempting to fill the shoes of the injured Steven Jackson (thigh), was benched after his second lost fumble in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Jets, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He said, "I was just a little too eager to make something happen. Hey, I can only blame myself. Technique-wise, I was horrible with it carrying the ball."
Our View:This is unfortunate for fantasy owners who picked him up during the week off the waiver wire, as he broke loose for 32 yards on four carries against a strong Jets' run defense prior to getting benched.
November 7, 2008 Kenneth Darby will start for the Rams on Sunday with Steven Jackson out, according to the Associated Press.
Our View:Darby probably won't be a great source of fantasy points this weekend. Even though he may see most of the Rams' carries on Sunday, their running game has been pretty inept all season.
November 3, 2008 Kenneth Darby right now is the Rams' only healthy running back and could be the starter Sunday when the Rams meet the Jets in New York, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The availability of Steven Jackson (thigh), Antonio Pittman (hamstring) and Travis Minor (concussion) is undetermined at this point.
Our View:Don't pick up Darby just yet, as Jackson should be able to practice some this week and start on Sunday. The Jets have a quality run defense and even if Darby were to get his first carries of the season, it's hard to imagine he would be very effective.

Our View:He replaced Brian Leonard on the roster, who has been placed on IR with a shoulder injury. He will hold no fantasy value while backing up Steven Jackson and Travis Minor.
