Our View:Edwards stated that he expects to play this weekend against the Chargers (31st ranked pass defense).
October 12, 2008 Adam Schefter of NFL.com reports the Bills have not determined yet whether Trent Edwards (concussion) will play in Week 7. They want to make sure that he is not rushed back too early.
Our View:The Bills are facing one of the weakest pass defenses in the league in San Diego next week, so Edwards owners should keep their fingers crossed that he will be able to return. If Edwards is unable to go, J.P. Losman would get the start.

Our View:Luckily for the Bills, they have a bye this week, which will give Edwards two weeks in which to recover. He was injured when Arizona Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson put a hit on him.
October 6, 2008 Trent Edwards (concussion) is unlikely to appear in practice this week for the Bills which obviously stamps his availability for the Bills next game in Week 7 in some doubt, according to the Associated Press. "We follow a routine for any of our players that suffer a concussion, so that's what we'll do with Trent," HC Dick Jauron said.
Our View:Obviously with the bye week Edwards will have two weeks to get ready for the Bills next game, and he might need that entire time to get back to the point where he is physically capable of performing without concern for his health.
October 6, 2008 Trent Edwards suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to Arizona, but could be back for the Cardinals' next game as he has extra time to rest with a bye in Week 6, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Coach Dick Jauron said, "I just came from Trent. He was responding, but he was still a little groggy. Hopefully, he'll be fine as time goes by here. It's a good time to have a bye."
Our View:Edwards has been a solid starter so far this season for Buffalo, with four touchdown passes and a 93.9 efficiency rating. It sounds like he is going to be fine.
