Trent Edwards underwent an MRI on his throwing shoulder, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View:He is seeking medical opinions to determine if his soreness in his shoulder is an issue. He has not lost strength in the shoulder, but the exam will decide if he needs any surgery.

The Buffalo Bills have decided to keep head coach Dick Jauron, ESPN.com reports.

Our View:The Bills started out the season ablaze, but collapsed and missed the playoffs. Jauron signed an extension earlier in the season, which may have played a part in his sticking around.
December 29, 2008
A decision regarding head coach Dick Jauron's future with the Bills will be made on Wednesday, according to the Buffalo News.

Our View:The Bills faired decently this season and Jauron signed a three-year extension back in October. Three coaches have already been canned and more are expected to follow.

Trent Edwards (groin) returned to the field after missing two weeks with an injury. He completed 17-of-25 passes for 193 yards, a touchdown and no turnovers as the Bills won in Denver in Week 16.

Our View:Edwards has shown the ability to win games for most of the season, with a few hiccups along the way. While he will likely continue to be the Bills' starting quarterback, he does not figure to be any more than a low-end No. 2 quarterback next season.
December 21, 2008
Trent Edwards is ready to return to the gridiron today at Denver following his bout with a groin injury, according to FOX Sports.

Our View:He has a good match-up against an unstable Broncos' pass defense, and his return should boost the performance of Marshawn Lynch and speed demon Lee Evans.
