For the second time this season, Texans wideout Jacoby Jones picked up the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award for taking a punt 73 yards for a touchdown in Houston's 35-6 domination of the Bengals, according to The Sports Network.

Our View:Jones is not much of a fantasy option at receiver, as he has just one catch for five yards on the year, but he has scored twice on punt returns this year.

Not only will Jacoby Jones share some time as the Texans third receiver this weekend with David Anderson, he will also return kickoffs, according to the Texans Official Website.

Our View:This certainly doesn't matter to the vast majority of fantasy football gamers, but if return yards are counted in your setup Jones gets a big boost with this news while Andre Davis loses out.

Jacoby Jones will share the workload with David Anderson as the Texans' No. 3 receiver this weekend in place of the injured Andre Davis, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Our View:Jones could replace Davis on kickoffs as well, as coach Gary Kubiak does not want rookie running back Steve Slaton handling the role to keep him healthier. Jones has exceptional speed and ability, and could emerge as a sleeper for this weekend in a favorable match-up against the Bengals.

Wide receiver Jacoby Jones is on the board. The second-year speedster scored the first touchdown of his career when he returned a punt 70 yards in the Week 6 win over the Dolphins. "It means a lot to the team," head coach Gary Kubiak tells the team's official web site. "The kid needed to make a play to get all that swagger back he had a year ago. I think you’re going to see him move on and excel."

Our View:Jones looked like a serious playmaker back in the 2007 preseason, but a shoulder injury held him back throughout his rookie campaign. We've always felt like he was a dangerous return man, and he finally got one this week. Now, if he could just translate those skills to the offense, the Texans would really be pleased.

Jacoby Jones is carrying a football everywhere he goes in hopes of improving a fumbling problem, according to the Houston Chronicle. He said, "I’m trying to get better and not fumble, so I’m going to walk around with this all day. If you’ve ever seen the movie The Program, I have to keep these guys from touching my friend (ball) right here. I’ve been walking around with it tucked all day, running with it, conditioning; it’ll help me. I don’t plan on putting it down."

Our View:Jones lost fumbles on punt returns in the first two preseason games. If this does not cure his problem, he will be yanked from his role as a return man. He doesn't hold much fantasy value as a projected No. 4 receiver either.
