Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis interecepted Kurt Warner and returned it for a 32-yard touchdown in the second quarter of the game against Arizona.

Our View:Revis, who has been displaying airtight coverage all season, is quickly becoming a shutdown corner. Earlier in the season, he picked Chad Pennington to seal a victory against the Dolphins and held Randy Moss to two receptions for 22 yards in a loss to the Patriots.

The Newark Star-Ledger reports that cornerback Darrelle Revis is living up to high expectations. He has played airtight coverage and his acrobatic interception of Chad Pennington with 10 seconds left sealed the Jets' season-opening victory over the Miami Dolphins. For an encore, Revis held Patriots all-world wide receiver Randy Moss to two catches for 22 yards last week.

Our View:The Jets had lofty expectations for Revis when they traded up to select him with the 14th pick in the 2007 draft. It didn't take long for the decision to pay dividends. Revis started all 16 games as a rookie and was second on the team in tackles (87, 74 solo) and had 13 passes defensed last season, exhibiting the size, speed and toughness that have many in the organization believing he's destined for stardom.

First-round picks are often expected to immediately step into a starting role and Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is doing just that. The New York Daily News reports Revis appears to have supplanted Andre Dyson as the team’s starting cornerback opposite David Barrett.
